Couples

"Behind every couple lies two people who have fought hard to overcome all obstacles and interferences to be that way. Why? Because it's what they wanted"

-Kim George

Relationships can be the most rewarding, and difficult, part of our life experience. They offer passion, fulfilment and excitement, or equally, we can lose our way and drift apart. Having issues doesn’t necessarily mean your relationship is broken beyond repair. Most of us are operating from unconscious beliefs about love & relationships that we developed in childhood. Couples therapy can offer an opportunity to explore your relationship and offer hope for something different.

I have specialist Couples training, experience and offer talking therapy from an Integrative Transpersonal model. Therapy can be long-term and short-term depending on your needs. Therapy will take place either remotely or face to face in a private and comfortable space where you will be treated with sensitivity and compassion.

My Fees & What To Expect

Fees:

I feel strongly about making therapy available for anyone and offer a sliding scale for session fees. For a 50 min session, my fees range from £100 up to £140 (this is the equivalent of £50 to £70 per person). Concessions are available for those on a lower income.

What to expect:

Undertaking Couples therapy is a demonstration of commitment to making your relationship a priority. It is also a catalyst for change. Having a neutral relationship expert can offer an independent perspective on your relationship dynamic, help facilitate difficult conversations, and offer techniques to facilitate transformation. What you can expect:

  • An initial assessment where we meet each other for the first time.
  • If we believe we are a good Client - Therapist match I ask you to commit for an initial eight 50 minute sessions concluding with a clear review.
  • Thereafter we may conclude our therapy or contract for a specific number of sessions, or open-ended therapy.
  • Throughout Couples therapy, your individual's needs will be named and cared for, however, how these needs impact your relationship with the be the focus.
  • In individual therapy the person is the client, in Couples therapy, your relationship is the client.
  • All sessions, and communication, will be conducted with both individuals present.
